LILAC will host a photography exhibit to accompany the launch of Tom Fox’s book, Creating the Hudson River Park: Environmental and Community Activism, Politics, and Greed. Fox has been documenting New York and its waterfronts for decades. These photographs show how New Yorkers were using Manhattan's West Side waterfront in the 1980's before Hudson River Park was envisioned. Book signing and reading will occur at the volleyball court on Pier 25 while the exhibit will be open for viewing. These activities are free and open to the public.
