Hours

LILAC is closed for the 2023 summer season

Regular hours will return in May when the ship opens to the public again on Memorial Day weekend in May. Private and group tours can be still be scheduled during winter months.

Hours are subject to change due to the weather.  If the forecast is for more than 50 percent chance of rain, if a Heat Advisory has been declared, or the Air Quality Index rises above 200, the ship will close. Some special events will go on, rain or shine. Please check the calendar for updates.

The ship is also open at other times for special public events.  Because space is limited, reservations may be required for special events. Join our mailing list to receive advance notice.

Group tours may be scheduled outside of our regular hours depending on availability of a tour guide and crew. Please contact us to make a reservation.

Admission to Lilac, our docked museum ship, is free and visitors can view exhibits and tour the ship at no charge. Donations are gratefully accepted but are not required.

When you visit, remember that you will be entering a ship undergoing restoration.  We want you to enjoy your visit safely. Wear comfortable flat shoes and clothing that you can wear to climb a ladder. Watch out for low overheads and for trip hazards and obey all instructions from our crew.
