Tour the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter KATHERINE WALKER, the "keeper of New York Harbor"  when she ties up just ahead of LILAC at Pier 25. This active-duty buoy tender, based in Bayonne, NJ is paying a special visit to honor LILAC's veterans. The KATHERINE WALKER maintains over 300 floating aids to navigation in and around New York Harbor. We are truly pleased that she is able to take time from her important duties to join us in Hudson River Park.  Compare this modern buoy tender with LILAC which will also be open.  It's her last day of the 2017 season.
